Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Magic Line Studio, operated by Magic Line Studio, a sole proprietorship based in New York, USA. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure, and for the accuracy of the information you provide. You must be old enough to form a binding contract, or use the service under a school or guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

We sell physical kits, original art, print-on-demand items, and digital designs (patterns + build instructions). Digital designs are licensed, not sold. Kit codes may unlock a digital design at checkout.

Designs and patterns are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use—make the piece for yourself or as a gift. You may not:

• resell, redistribute, or share the patterns, instructions, or files;
• use them to produce items for sale, run paid classes/workshops, or generate patterns for resale;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or bulk-extract the simulator, its formulas, or the design library.

Commercial, resale, or teaching use requires a separate paid license—contact support@magiclinestudio.art. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

The service, software, simulator, formulas, curated pattern library, branding, and content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. Your account and license don’t transfer any ownership to you.

Prices are shown at checkout and processed by Stripe. Pro is a recurring subscription that auto-renews until cancelled; manage or cancel it anytime from your account billing portal (cancelling stops future renewals; we don’t pro-rate partial periods unless the law requires it). STEAM is a one-time purchase granting one year of access. Kit codes are single-use.

Schools and educators may use the STEAM product under these Terms. The education login is for the purchasing institution; share it only within that institution. See the children & schools section of our Privacy Policy.

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms (e.g., infringement, scraping, or abuse). You may delete your account at any time from your account page.

We may update these Terms; material changes will be dated above and, where appropriate, notified. These Terms are governed by the State of New York, USA, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules.
