Who we are

Magic Line Studio (“we,” “us”), a sole proprietorship based in New York, USA, operates Magic Line Studio. Questions about this policy or your data: support@magiclinestudio.art.

What we collect

  • Account: your email, an optional name, and a securely hashed password (we never store your raw password).
  • Orders: items purchased, amounts, and—for physical items—the shipping name and address you enter at checkout.
  • Payment: handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number—only a payment/customer reference.
  • Education (STEAM): a single school/educator account (email + password + chosen modules). We do not collect student names, ages, or rosters, and we do not track student activity in the simulator.
  • Technical: standard server logs needed to run and secure the service. We do not use advertising trackers.

Cookies & analytics

We use only strictly-necessary cookies (sign-in/session). If we add usage analytics we will use a privacy-preserving, cookieless tool and exclude the education/simulator surfaces.

How we use your data

To run your account, fulfill orders, deliver digital designs, process payments and subscriptions, send transactional email (receipts, sign-in links, order and fulfillment notices), prevent abuse, and meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with (service providers)

  • Stripe — payments & subscriptions (receives your email + billing/shipping address).
  • Printful — print-on-demand fulfillment (receives recipient name + shipping address for those items).
  • Our email and hosting providers — to deliver email and run the site/store files.
These providers operate in the United States and elsewhere; any international transfers rely on their standard safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses). We do not sell your data.

Your rights & choices

You can download your data and delete your account from your account page. Deleting your account removes your designs and access; past orders are kept in anonymized form for legal and accounting records. Depending on where you live (e.g., GDPR/UK GDPR/CCPA) you may have additional rights to access, correct, or object to processing—contact support@magiclinestudio.art.

Children & schools

The service is intended for adults and for schools/educators acting for their institution. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children: the education product uses a single educator/school login, collects no student-identifiable data, and does not profile students. When a school uses the service with students, the school is responsible for any classroom use and for obtaining any consents its policies require.

Retention & security

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, order and tax records are retained for several years). Passwords are hashed; traffic is encrypted over HTTPS; files are served via short-lived signed links from a private store.

Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.
